Poodle was a blast to ride over fences! She had great heart, scope, and technique up to 4 feet. This mare truly loved to jump! She rarely came close to touching a rail and never refused. She also has lovely gaits with good hock action, and a strong ground covering stride. She scored a 9 on her walk, 8 for gaits, and 8 for jumping technique at her Canadian Warmblood inspection, and overall she earned a premium score of 8. She has very correct conformation with good bone and hooves, and her legs are clean and straight. She was a super athletic mare with an abundance of stamina, and her work ethic and willingness to work is exceptional. She is a smart, sensitive, and forward mare who always strives to please her rider and who loves to show off to an audience. She has amazing constitution; we have owned her since she was two years old and in all that time she has never once been sick, not one cold, not even a runny eye or nose. We attribute Poodle's good bone structure, healthy vigor, and stamina to the bit of Morgan blood she carries from her dam's side of her pedigree. From her Quarter Horse sire, Fox de Bar, who was a race horse before retiring to stud, she inherited her impressive athleticism. Fox de Bar only stood for 2 years but in that time he sired several offspring competitive in all the English disciplines.
