Oona spent four years of her life as a race horse in Ontario before transitioning to a career as a hunter for a couple years. She quickly became a farm favourite when she arrived at our farm in the fall of 2021 with her incredibly sweet and affectionate nature, and excellent manners. She is also very unflappable as there is not much that seems to phase her. We have wanted to add a quality Thoroughbred mare to our herd for awhile to purpose breed for eventing foals, but with Oona's lovely gaits and demeanour she also has potential to produce quite nice dressage, hunter, and jumper mounts for amateur riders. It is a special bonus that she is also very beautiful. We look forward to seeing what she will produce for us. |

He was beaten only once in his six career starts, when third (unfortunately DQ’d to fourth) behind Skip Away and Deputy Commander. Whiskey Wisdom has sired 30 stakes horses and is represented by runners who average $69,683 in earnings. His 14 stakes winners include 2008 juvenile Double Malt, at Woodbine.
